Madrid, 1961. Science Fiction was present in his house from the very beginning because his father gradually filled his room with sci-fi books. They crammed a bookshelf from the ceiling down to the floor. At the age of 10 he was already an unremitting reader… However, upon reaching his puberty, music abducted him and he tried to balance both worlds until he reached his thirties. He wrote a book about the band “King Crimson” and never abandoned literature altogether. Although he had published a forgettable short story in New Dimension and a couple of fragments in fanzines, he stopped writing literary prose for twenty-five years. The event HispaCon celebrated at Vigo in 2006 moved him and in the last eleven years he has written more than thirty texts, including an unpublished novel, which he has published in paper or online fanzines (Pélago and NGC 3660) and the anthology Visiones 2014. In the musical aspect, in addition to the cited book, he has collaborated in the fanzines or e-zines El Mellotron, El Chamberlin, Oro Molido and República Progresiva Fanzine. His areas of interest include the Canterbury scene, RIO music, Zeuhl music, classic and contemporary music, together with progressive rock, jazz rock and related genres during the seventies. Also, everything related to the works of Robert Fripp, Peter Hammill, Cristian Vander and Robert Wyatt (among others), both within or outside the bands with whom they have worked. Despite having written songs and instrumental music alone or with other musicians, he abandoned his role as an active musician since 1995, when he wrote his last compositions. In 2016 he participated writing the lyrics of six songs and part of the texts of the declamations in the album Bestiario of The Circle Project. Madrid, 1961. La ciencia ficción estaba en su casa desde el principio ya que su habitación fue llenándose con los libros de ciencia ficción de su padre ocupando una estantería del techo al suelo. Es lector infatigable desde los diez años… Sin embargo, con la pubertad, la música le abdujo y hasta los treinta años estuvo intentando compaginar los dos mundos. Escribió un libro sobre el grupo King Crimson, pero él nunca abandonó la literatura del todo. Aunque había publicado un olvidable relato breve en Nueva Dimensión y un par de fragmentos en fanzines dejó de escribir prosa literaria durante veinticinco años. La HispaCon celebrada en Vigo en 2006 le conmocionó y en los últimos once años ha escrito más de treinta textos, incluyendo una novela inédita, que ha publicado en fanzines en papel o en línea (Pélago y NGC 3660) y la antología Visiones 2014. En el aspecto musical, aparte del libro citado, ha colaborado en los fanzines o e-zines El Mellotron, El Chamberlin, Oro Molido y República Progresiva Fanzine. Sus áreas de interés incluyen lo relativo a la escena de Canterbury, la música RIO, la música Zeuhl y la música clásica y contemporánea; junto al rock progresivo, jazz rock y músicas afines de la década de los años setenta; y todo lo relativo a la obra de Robert Fripp, Peter Hammill, Christian Vander y Robert Wyatt (entre otros), dentro y fuera de los grupos con los que han trabajado. Pese a haber escrito canciones y música instrumental solo o en compañía de otros, ha abandonado el rol de músico en activo desde 1995, año de sus últimas creaciones. En 2016 ha colaborado escribiendo las letras de seis de las canciones y una parte de los textos de las locuciones del álbum Bestiario de The Circle Project.
